The participation and enthusiasm of stude nts was beyond expectations. The students were briefed about the various a spects of Mechanical Engineering. They were also given a brief introductio n of IMechE at UET Taxila. Total participation was 170\; 38 Members &\; 132 Non-Members. \;\n\n\n\n\nPurpose:\nThe aim of this seminar was to enlighten freshly enrolled students of 2018 about IMechE UK and IMechE UE T Taxila Chapter and how IMechE provides them a platform to polish their t echnical and leadership skills. IMechE Team briefed them about their past events\, and how these events help them in polishing their management\, te chnical and communication skills. They were also told about industrial tou rs which are organized by IMechE.\n\n\n\nA video was presented before the students to highlight the achievements of IMechE UET Taxila Student Chapte r in the preceding years. Mr. Jawad Rafiq (Media Director) and Mr. Umer Iq bal (Management Director) gave a presentation on the importance of the soc iety and what kind of events and student grooming activities will be held by the IMechE.\n\n\n\nGuest Speakers:\nThe honorable guest speakers were:\ n\n Dr. Waqar Ahmed Qureshi (Assistant Professor)\n Dr. Abid (Assist ant Professor)\n Dr. Nazeer Ahmad Anjum (Assistant Professor / Advisor IMechE UET Taxila)\n\nIn the end\, Mr. Murad Ashraf\, student chair of IMe chE UET Taxila\, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of j oining a technical volunteer society where new comers can learn and excel.
