The site at Tulla\, Co Clare\, is unique due to its location and with that comes great environmental responsibility. T his presentation will discuss Beckman&rsquo\;s interaction with the site o n its journey to sustainability.\n\nAbout the Speaker(s):\n\nVincent Blake is part of the team who ensure Safety and Environmental Sustainability ac ross the 330-acre biomedical manufacturing site. Beckman Cou lter Clare was recently awarded a Cré\;afó\;g Award from the A merican Chamber of Commerce in Ireland for its commitment to sustainabilit y and excellent environmental practices. The company also recently receive d an award from the IDA for its Commitment to Sustainability. Vinnie and t he team are currently working towards carbon-neutral status by focusing on water optimization\, renewable energy\, CO2 emissions reduction and other enhanced environmental practices.\n\nVinnie is a BSc Hons Environmental E ngineer with additional qualifications in the areas of: &lsquo\;Health\, S afety &\; Welfare&rsquo\;\; &lsquo\; Management&rsquo\; as well as &lsq uo\;Pollution Control&rsquo\; from the &lsquo\;University of Limerick&rsqu o\;\, &lsquo\;Kemmy Business School&rsquo\; and &lsquo\;Open University&rs quo\;. He has over 2 decades of demonstrated competence in the regulated H igh Technology &\; Pharmaceutical industries.
