North Sea operators have committed\nto redu ce their methane emissions by 50% by 2030\, from 1.3 million tonnes CO2\ne quivalent in 2018. This is not only required by governments\, but also now \nexpected by stakeholders and consumers. \nHow will this be achieved? A k ey requirement is the ability to\nconfidently and accurately detect\, loca lise and quantify methane emissions from\noffshore assets &ndash\; safely and cost effectively. OGMP 2.0 dictates direct\, top-down\nmeasurements. O nly then can remedial actions be taken to ensure that future methane\nemis sions meet those targets.\nThis presentation will introduce various techno logies and\nprocesses that exist today\, with case studies on drone-deploy ed surveys\nperformed in the UK North Sea.\n\nWe will meet at 6pm for tea and coffee. Lecture will begin at 6.30pm. \;\n\nContact Details: Scott Rosie\nAddress: United Kingdom.\n\n Alternative Contact: Tegwen Northam E ngTech\, MIMechE\nAddress: Aberdeen\, United Kingdom.
