BMS is an Indigenous Irish Company involved in the design development and manufacturing of Electronic Torque Wrenches. Since developing such an innovative product the company has gone on to develop other products and services in the area. Wining for the second consecutive year, BMS was awarded Innovation Award Winner 2011 for outstanding levels of innovation and manufacturing practice along with the overall award for Small to Medium Size companies by the SFA (Small Firms Association). BMS Ireland designs, develops and manufactures quality control solutions to the high-end automotive and aerospace industries or anywhere where the measurement of joint integrity is critical. BMS has an in-house research and development team and over 90pc of its sales are to the export market with high-end customer bases in Germany, US, Japan, China, Indonesia and the UK. Asian customers now include Honda, Nissan, VW China, GM China and Suzuki amongst many others.

There is no charge for the lecture and is open to the public - no reservation required. The address will be followed by tea/coffee and the attendees will have the opportunity for further discussion.

Liam Ryan is the owner and MD of BMS Ireland Technology Centre.He has been in business for over 30 years and has successfully developed and sold-on companies in engineering and industrial distribution. BMS has just established a sales base in China to supply to Indonesia, Japan and other Asian.
