Engineers Ireland will throw open its doors as part of Family Fun Day. Engineering in Action will be showcasing a number of hands on projects aiming to demonstrate real life engineering. The event will bring both students & professional engineers, from various backgrounds together to display & discuss what they do day-to-day. Interesting projects such as, A Solar Orbiter, An Autonomous Sailboat and Formula Student Race car will be on display visitors.
Engineering in Action is organised by the Young Members Societies of both the IMechE & Engineers Ireland.

Learn about the inner working of engines, discover how to create petrol from cooking oil and see how engineering can rebuild the human body. Come along and get a taste of being an engineer, discover new technology and experience the world of Science, Engineering & Technology.
