This year the IMechE will be participating to promote the engineering profession for current & future engineers on two fronts:
Providing information on the international services offered by the IMechE, both in the specialist industrial sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Bio-medic
al, or Energy and Power, but also in the competence and career development programmes for students and professional engineers
The preparation of workshops, clubs and competitions aimed at both current and future engineers.This will initially be based in the automotive sectors, presenting different levels of projects from a local Kid’s kitcar club, competitions such as the Greenpower Education Trust’s range of events (www.greenpoower.co.uk) and Formula Student, to the Bloodhound SSC (//www.pedrorafa.com/careers-education/supporting-teachers/bloodhound).
