Discussion Cafe 2

The Discussion Cafe is a chance to meet, network and share your experience and opinion. This is the second in a series of events investigating the topic of Generations in the workplace.

The first Discussion Cafe debated the point of view of older workers. The conclusion was that older workers already have most of the skills they need for the future.Controversially,it also concluded that the younger generation have little that they can teach the older generation. Read the full reporthere.

Join the second debate about younger workers; what they can offer and what they can learn? There will be a short impulse presentation, then it's over to you. With a drink and some snacks to eat, you will be able to share your views and experiences. There will be facilitators available to catch your thoughts.

All members are welcome. Young members are especially welcome to share their point of view about this topic.

If you can't join the event, then you are still encouraged to have your say and answer the 4 questions on the online survey, clickhere.

The anonymous outcome of this event will be summarised and shared with the membership. The first discussion Cafe summary was included in the IMechE international News report, see the reporthere.
