The SOFE (Speak Out For Engineering) competition was established by the Institution in 1964 to challenge young engineers to prove that they could "communicate effectively", which is still an important area for today’s developing engineers.

参与者必须给一个20分钟al presentation on an engineering related topic in front of a panel of judges.

The winner and runner up of the SOFE Seville 2018 will be classified for the SOFE 2018 - Iberia Final (to be held in Madrid in October 2018).
