Achieving enhanced manufacturing competitiveness through the adoption of Industry 4.0



Through the application of a range of different digital technologies, the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) can lead to enhanced processing efficiencies, reduced downtime, as well as individualised manufacturing capabilities. This presentation will provide an overview of Industry 4.0, including on how it has been introduced internationally, within a range of different countries and companies.

Description

The presentation will include an overview on the successful introduction by Intel of a number of different digital manufacturing technologies at its Leixlip plant, to enhance both part yield and process uptime in the manufacture of semiconductor devices.
