The IMechE will be conducting the Rocket Launching activity as part of the Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity. The activity involves helping with making the paper rocket structures and launching them using an air pump, controlled by an ignition switch. The activity is great fun and has always attracted both students and parents, challenging each other to make the most aerodynamic rockets and reach the greatest heights.
