Technical lecture

This event has finished
Description

Please note the venue has changed to Cambridge Consultants on the Science Park.

Current surgical robots give surgeons the ability to precisely and
delicately manipulate tissue without requiring large incisions into
the body. The robots themselves are large and costly, however, which
limit their use. We discuss some of the engineering underpinnings that
cause these robotic systems to be large, and talk through strategies
for overcoming these limitations.

Free to attend and open to all, please book your place to help us manage numbers.
