From a background in Physics Dr Chris Hole spent 12 years in high frequency electronics developing equipment for the mobile telecom industry before moving to TTP in 2008. As the importance of life science engineering grew within TTP Chris became involved in diagnostics and the spin-out of LEX Diagnostics as a separate company focused on PCR based influenza testing in primary care. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things in diagnostics but has only reinforced the need for low cost, rapid PCR.
