The Engineering Careers series is a brand-new event series being launched by the Greater London Region Young Members Panel. The series showcases various disciplines and career pathways within the engineering industry. Find the career opportunities available to young engineers today!

For the second event of the series, we will hear from University of Cambridge alumnus, Associate Director: Matthew Butler Meng (Hons), MA (Cantab), CEng, MIMechE.

Matthew is at the frontier of specialist low energy solutions for developments ranging from offices to complex laboratories. He balances functional, aspirational and sustainable performance all whilst satisfying BREEAM Excellent targets, Building Regulations Part L and local planning submission requirements.

Matthew has specialist knowledge in the development of low energy solutions for a wide range of projects from offices to complex laboratories. His most recent design projects include the University of Cambridge Dyson Building and the University of Nottingham Centre for Sustainable Chemistry.
