Join us to hear about Building Britain’s most powerful steam locomotive.Rob Morland of the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust will talk about how Sir Nigel Gresley's revolutionary 1934 design is being re-engineered and reintegrated for the 21st Century. To be named Prince of Wales the new P2 Class locomotive will be built using modern manufacturing technology to deliver Britain's most powerful passenger steam locomotive.This will be a hybrid event being hosted at RSSB (4th Floor Helicon, 1 South Place, London EC2M 2RB). In-person attendees will be able to network with fellow rail industry professionals and our speaker. Virtual attendees will join via Teams with meeting details provided closer to the event.
