Description

In collaboration with Frazer-Nash, Ecotive has launched the Range-Extended Electric (REE) Metrocab - the first zero emissions capable London taxi. With over ten years in development and over one million powertrain test kilometres, the Metrocab represents the cutting edge of sustainable transportation technology.

The Metrocab is capable of achieving a fuel consumption of over 99mpg (3.2 litre/100 km). This is more than a three-fold improvement over conventional diesel taxis.

Designed to continue its heritage as a London icon, the Metrocab is also aimed at being the smarter, sustainable solution for the global market. Fully compliant with the London Taxi Private Hire (LTPH) regulations, the Metrocab emits 75% less CO2 than conventional taxis available on the market.

This event is free to attend and there is no booking required. Members and non-members are welcome.
