Fifty years after the last Mark 1 Mini rolled off the production line, British Motor Heritage Limited have recreated this iconic vehicle's bodyshell for the benefit of Mini enthusiasts worldwide. Features specific to the Mark 1, such as external door hinges, sliding windows and many others have been recreated using a mix of traditional and modern engineering techniques.
John Yea is the Managing Director of British Motor Heritage, a company that has for many years recreated complete bodyshells and other parts for a range of classic British cars such as the Mini, MG Midget, MGB and Triumph Spitfire.
