INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN ENGINEERING DAY 2018: INSPIRING TALKS FROM STUDENTS, PROFESSIONALS AND LECTURERS WITH A NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY

To celebrate Women in Engineering Day, the Tyne & Wear IMechE Young Members Panel are hosting a speakers’ event to learn more about the varied roles and opportunities for female engineers in the North East.

This should be an inspiring event for anyone either working in or considering a career in engineering. This event is aimed at GCSE and sixth form students, college and university students, young professionals or anyone who wants to celebrate Women in Engineering Day.

Highlights include:

- Opportunity tonetworkwithcompanies& current engineering professionals

- Astudent panelof female undergraduates from Northumbria and Newcastle University

- Learn about thecareersavailable within engineering

- Celebrate thesuccessesof local women in engineering

There is no charge for attending this public event and the talk is open to non-members. Please feel free topublicize this event.We request everyone to register your interest online to help us organize better and also for safety reasons at our venues.
