Description

The role engineers play in inspiring, nurturing and developing the next generation of engineers cannot be underestimated. Young people cannot aspire to something they didn’t know existed, so bringing engineers into the classroom to work alongside teachers, children and pupils is a major part of our programmes, projects, and qualifications. ‘If you were an engineer’ is a National Competition that encourages problem solving through creative thinking – here’s how you can help the children start that journey:

  • Visit a local school and introduce engineering through your life experiences and begin helping them as they problem solve.
  • Visit a local school virtually to present an overview of your career, enhancing on the diverse routes into the industry.
