We have organised a visit into the heart of Whitehaven Marina. The visit will give you the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Marina, look at engineering projects in the boat yard and learn about the sea lock.

We have arranged for a tour of the Foxfield brewery in Broughton in Furness. The first brew came out of Foxfield in 1997, although the first brew from the tower brewery was not until late 1999 (‘Bert’s Booster’ appeared at Cockermouth’s 1999 beer festival). The brewery has a capacity of 3 barrels and is constantly trying new recipes. The tour begins at 10:30 and is free and open to all.
