It is essential society changes the way we use the planet’s resources. Just throwing things away must stop. This webinar will look at the drivers in “waste and resource management”. It will review what is happening around the world and suggest future trends.

There is an increasing movement towards technology solutions for the waste we produce, driven by the need to be “SUSTAINABLE IN ALL THINGS”. Changing the way we design, manufacture, distribute, use, collect, and then dispose of the things mankind consumes presents many challenges and provides great opportunities for the mechanical engineer.

Speaker(s)

Allan Barton has worked in the resources and waste sector for over 30 years. He now leads Arup’s resource and waste business sector and has travelled the world assisting people to understand the best approaches for this sector and achieve a more sustainable world.
