MVP is a version of a product with just enough features to be usable by early customers who can then provide feedback for future product development.

A common theme in organisations is a great idea but little to no investment budget and no resources to deliver on that idea. A misconception associated with this situation is that ‘since we don’t have cash to make a full product, let’s do a minimum viable product (MVP)‘. This stems from a basic misunderstanding what an MVP is, which results in having a wrong strategy or no strategy.

In this talk about how to successfully develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) we will set the scene, get rid of a few misconceptions, and talk about essentials in developing an MVP, and close with what to do after the MVP is developed. We will also provide tools for the attendees to use in their own time after the talk is done.

It is important to understand and successfully develop MVPs because in this changing dynamic, every organisation, big and small must learn to adapt its working practises as if it were a start-up, and learn to be agile and more responsive to market demands.
