We’ll summarize the highlights of each industry, glance over key design documents and run through an example of how a process facility is built up in practise. Attendees of this webinar will gain an understanding of the role and tasks of a mechanical engineer and exciting career within the Process industries.

Penny Morton
Penny Morton is a Project Engineer at Koolmill Systems Ltd and a member of the Food and Drink TAC of the Process Industries Division. Pamela Robinson
Pamela is a Chartered Engineer and sits on the Water and Waste Water TAC and is also a treasurer of the NW Process Division Centre Committee. After an initial career in the petrochemical industry, Pam moved into the waste water sector, working for Imtech on the capital delivery program for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. Later moving to Atkins, gaining experience within the water and waste water industry for various water and non-water Clients in inside and outside of the UK.
Pam will give a brief introduction to the role of a mechanical engineer within the water and waste water industry.
Masoud Bagherzadeh
He is the Engineering manager and Mechanical Engineering department manager at Fluor, one of the well-known process industry contractors. Masoud has 18+ years of experience and worked on number of oil, gas, LNG and petrochemical projects in different capacities from conceptual design to construction.
He is passionate about mechanical engineering and passing knowledge to the next generation of engineers.
He is a member of IMechE’s Process Industry Division Board.
Rewnizad Mogrelia
He is a mechanical equipment engineer at Fluor, a Tier 1 process industry contractor. Rewnizad has 4 years of mechanical engineering experience working in sectors such as Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Precious Metals.Rewnizad is a developing engineer with a passion for rotating and packaged equipment within the process industries.
Rewnizad has a M(Eng) degree in mechanical and materials engineering and is currently working towards chartered engineer status with the IMechE.
Maurice Worthington

John Bartlett
John has worked in various industries including chemical, nuclear and naval engineering industries, after earlier training and experience in the chemical process industries with ICI Ltd.Before becoming an engineering consultant, John spent 20 years with HSE as a regulator of nuclear plants, in particular of reprocessing plants and of naval facilities.
He has a great interest in spreading the application of process safety management principles to mechanical and electrical processing industries, and to getting awareness of these industries and their PSM opportunities to young engineers.
