You are cordially invited to attend a joint panel discussion with IMechE and ASME at the Scottish Event Campus, SEC in Glasgow onMonday June 10, 2019, which will be held in conjunction with the Offshore, Marine and Arctic Engineering technical conference (OMAE).

The panel discussion follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between ASME and IMechE several years ago.

Topics for discussion include:

• Key areas for collaboration
• Identifying items of interest and ways to engage with students and early career engineers.

The panel discussion will be chaired byTom Costabile, Executive Director / CEO at ASME.

Representing IMechE will be:

• Sandra Mulligan, Business Development Manager for Scotland
• David Nash, ASME Fellow and past Chair of the Scottish Region
• TBA, representative from Young Member Committee

Representing ASME will be:

• Stuart Cameron, member, ASME Board of Governors
• Ian Arbon, ASME Fellow and past Chair, ASME UK
• Valentina Alayon, Coordinator, Student and Early Career Engineering, ASME; and past Chair of ASME student section at the University of Las Vegas

The panel discussion will take place in the Forth Room in the Armadillo of the SECC Campusfrom 17:00-18:15 pm on Monday June 10, 2019.

The panel discussion will be followed by an informal reception.
