We are inviting you to join engineers from around Scotland to help grade the entries at one of three 'one-day' inspirational events for the Scottish Engineering Leaders Award. The Leaders Award asks school children 'If you were an engineer, what would you do?', and this event is arranged to assess their answers to this question.

Decommissioning is a growing market across the North Sea, with a significant number of the assets approaching the end of their useful lives being located on the UK Continental Shelf. To date, no more than 15% of N.Sea platforms and pipelines have been decommissioned, with over 200 platforms expected to be removed by 2025. This presentation will provide an overview of the complex challenge ahead, and how the industry is collaborating to meet it.
