Apply now to compete in Speak Out For Engineering Glasgow Heat 2022. The event is coming up fast so get your presentations at the ready for thechance to win £300!

Details:

Date: Thursday 24thMarch

Place: Livingstone Tower, University of Strathclyde

Time: Evening - TBC

The evening involves a series of talks by contestants about an engineering topic of their choice, with comments and ranking by our judges. The presentations are judged primarily on delivery and presentation style, with only 10% of the mark on technical content. The winner of the Glasgow Heat will go on to the Scottish Region competition with the chance to compete in the international IMechE Speak out For Engineering final.

Applications are now OPEN for any student or graduate who is an affiliate or associate member of the IMechE to compete for the grand prize of £300 (runner-up: £200). Thedeadline for applications is 3rdof Marchso be sure to submit your application to compete for the grand-prize.
