Description

Dr Dominic Eggbeer will discuss his research on the design and development of personalised medical devices, including surgical implants, facial prosthetics, dental devices, and other rehabilitation products. His work spans medical, design and engineering disciplines to understand what people want from products and to develop solutions that help to improve the way healthcare is delivered. Dr Eggbeer has built and manages a small, ISO 13485 compliant team, with broad ranging customers in UK hospitals, research groups and industry.

Refreshments and networking from 6.30pm. Talk to start at 7pm.

Over 15 years, Dr Dominic Eggbeer has developed an extensive portfolio of research outputs, design engineering projects, workshops and commercial services. His team has delivered thousands of anatomical models, patient specific implants, and other devices to the UK NHS and beyond.
