Richard Moore will look back at Chevaline and Trident, the billion-pound strategic nuclear deterrent programmes of the 1970s, 80s and 90s: how these programmes were run; how well they succeeded in time, cost and quality; and how they were perceived politically. This will not be an official view, or the result of any formal lesson-learning exercise, but a set of personal reflections from a historian and former IT programme manager.
