Hobby rockets are more than just toys.They are widely credited as a significant source of inspiration for youngsters who go on to become engineers and scientists.There is a low knowledge barrier to getting involved but then plenty of challenges which provide a grounding in how to research and develop solutions to technical problems as well as having plenty of fun.
