While studying for a Masters degree in Integrated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Elizabeth was Team Leader for Team Bath Racing Electric, the electric Formula Student team from the University of Bath. The team, comprising 50 engineering undergraduate students, designs, builds and races a new electric car every year competing in the prestigious Formula Student UK event held each July at Silverstone Circuit.
Under her leadership Team Bath Racing Electric retained their title as the top electric team in the UK and climbed 22 places to 17th out of 81 teams at Formula Student UK 2018.
Alongside her responsibilities to Formula Student this year, Elizabeth earned a first class degree and was also awarded the IET Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the final year.
