    Colin Froude (Squadron Leader, Royal Air Force Retd) will talk about the challenges associated with testing large aircraft. Drawing on his flying experience, Colin will describe the origins of the Heavy Aircraft Test and Evaluation Squadron which is based at Boscombe Down. Colin will also discuss the Squadron’s roles which include testing modifications, R&D work and Met Research Flights.
