Greenpower’s Formula 24 is a scheme for secondary schools to start with a 24 volt electric motor and a set of 4 12 volt lead/acid batteries and design and build their own race cars. The team then competes in a number of endurance races throughout the country, using well known motor racing circuits. Here, the team from Knaresborough will tell us what’s involved, what they learn and how much fun they have!
