Young Rail Tours (YRT) has been established with two key goals; to arrange domestic, international and intercontinental study tours that are affordable, accessible and inspirational for young professionals working in the UK Rail Industry, and to act as a point of contact for organisations and companies from abroad seeking to arrange tours within the UK rail industry.

Established in May 2019, YRT is led by founders from the YRP, IMechE, IET and IRSE. Part of YRP, YRT continues to develop into a more established programme supported by these organisations.
