说出来的工程(刚柔相济)是你的chance to showcase your presentation skills and technical knowledge in front of the brightest minds in the business. This year’s SOfE NUST, to be held at School of mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) on the 14th of November, will be a convention of some of the most dynamic up-and-coming engineers all competing for a slice of the glory pie, and a fair bit of prize money too.
The purpose of this competition is to help young engineers develop their ability to effectively convey complex engineering concepts. The competition focuses more on presentation skills and is aimed at judging how well a competitor can present topics of a more technical nature. It was established by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and different chapters of the same institute conduct this competition in many countries around the world.
Top 5 candidates of SOfE NUST will be eligible for participation in SOfE North, where they will compete against candidates of other renowned universities of North Pakistan. Further success will allow them to compete in a national-level SOfE competition, the winner of which will receive a cash award of 100 euros and the honor of representing Pakistan at SOfE South Asia in Sri Lanka.
