The AKDC Nationals 2021 took place on the 2nd of January, 2022. The event was held online due to COVID restrictions, and had teams from all over Pakistan. The challenge this year was to design a vehicle that could go forward, and retrace its path after doing that. The challenge was judged by a competent panel of Engineers, who possessed expertise and work experience across a plethora of engineering disciplines, who engaged in productive question and answer sessions with each of the teams, making sure that the designs were workable and feasible as well. Dr. David Ball, founder of the Design challenge, also graced the event with his presence as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Mohammed Uneeb served as the Contest Chair of the Design Challenge in Pakistan.
