Speak Out For Engineering (SOFE) is a competition organised by the IMechE in various locations around he world to encourage younger members to improve their presentation skills by presenting a technical subject. Within the Oceania Region, heats are held in various locations in Australia, New Zealand and now for the first time, in PNG. The winner of the heats will be invited to compete in the Regional Final which is planned for Sydney in November 2017.

This competition is being held at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology (Unitech) on the 24th of May. This is an all day event. There is no charge to participate in this event.
