The IMechE Queensland Panel, along with Engineers Australia, invites you to a technical presentation event covering Welding of HDPE Pipe with Georg Fischer Pty Ltd.

This session will provide attendees with an excellent opportunity to combine practical learning and training on welding of small HDPE pipe, with a presentation on the APGA Code of Practice v5.

Through the evening, we will:
- learn how to weld small HDPE pipe
- hear about the APGA Code of Practice latest revision (v5)

Food and light refreshments will be provided.

Ray Muscat

With more than 20 years of experience, Ray has had a major role in the design and development of Queensland’s key CSG fields and has been actively involved in the growth of the CSG to LNG industry in this state.

He has aBE (Mechanical Engineering) at Swinburne University and in recent yearshas been actively involved in updating relevant Australian codes and standards to ensure the entire CSG industry has access to up to date industry knowledge. He has served as a committee member on the APGA Code of Practice since 2010.

Ray has worked both in Australia and abroad, for companies such as Origin Energy, Oil Company of Australia, BHP (Melbourne) and NKK International (Malaysia). He is currently working for Senex Energy on their Surat and Atlas developments.
