A workshop was conducted on 24^thJuly 2021, which was attended by UTP and non-UTP students and alumni, to introduce the attendees to the basics of the Ansys software. This workshop was delivered by Adam Reduan Chin, who apart from being an alumnus of UTP, was also the IMechE-UTP-SC Chairman for the 2018/19 tenure. Various modules were covered during the session, comprising introduction to Ansys, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation. The session was very interactive as the attendees had many questions for the speaker and based on the feedback from the participants, they were impressed with the sharing content and credibility of the speaker.
