SRM University New Delhi Student Chapter

IMechE SRM student chapter was started in February 2014 by Mr. Ravi Ratan Raj Monga. Despite being one of the youngest societies in our university, it has been able to achieve great success in terms of active student participation with more than 200+ registrations during the academic year 2014-15.

Currently, with the efforts of team comprising of 30+ members including all years it has achieved such great heights. They have conducted various online events and offline competitive events also in their campus. The most successful event PRESENT’EM 2k15, was one of the major events in which students from their college as well as other colleges showed active participation.

As a part of IMechE, they are planning to conduct various online and competitive events, conferences and industrial visits at national and international levels in future.

As a team, they are working hard to help mates to work upon their talent and promote mechanical engineering. The team is always in pursuit of new ideas and innovations for conducting creative events, which benefit the mechanical engineers.
