IMechE Process division is organising a lecture on"The Covid-19 virus, a portable UV Sanitiser & COVID-19 research at IIT-Bombay".

The distinguished speaker isDr. Ambarish Kunwar,Associate Professor, Biosciences and Bio engineering at IIT Bombay. The lecture will describe the virus, the UV sanitising equipment that has been developed in the past two months and is in production, together with other COVID-19 research being conducted at IIT Bombay. It is envisaged that the lecture will help our members understand the pandemic better. Through Q&A they could contribute to useful ideas on how engineering could assist in a post lock down phase, where we need economic activity despite the continuing prevalence of the pandemic.
