IMechE Sri Lanka group visited the engineering faculty of University of Perdeniya on 10th August 2015. Mr. Lucien Pereira (Chairman SL Group), Mr. Lasantha Kurukulaarachi (Chairman Young members section), Mr. Chanaka Wanniarachchi (Chairman Membership development), Mr. K. Vishwanath (Student Chapter Coordinator), Prof. L. Rajapaksha (Chair CPD) took part in the session. The team was hosted by Peradeniya university student chapter members.
The session started with introduction to IMechE local activities and route to membership conducted by Eng Lasantha Kurukulaarachi followed by a session on Industrial safety and latest developments in the industry by Eng Chanaka Wanniarachchi.
